Format & Regulations
-
Cantonese Mahjong played in full gun style, with flower tiles; total 144 tiles.
-
Scoring is chip-based; gambling is strictly prohibited.
-
Minimum winning hand is 3 fan (points); hands below this are considered as Trick hand (詐糊), which is invalid and penalized.
-
Maximum score is 10 fan; players must draw and discard the final tile (includes “Under the Sea” winning condition).
-
Fake win: claiming a win without proper tiles results in a 10-fan (512-point) penalty; others do not score.
-
Blocking a win is allowed, except for Thirteen Orphans.
-
Dealer rotation is required after a draw game (摸和), where no player wins.
-
Robbing a kong is considered a self-draw; the kong-declarer pays for all.
-
Hands with 12 tiles require the player to pay for all.
-
After each winning hand, all players must verify chips and ensure correct scoring. Once chips are exchanged, no appeals will be accepted.
-
Any disputes must be raised immediately during the match. Once scores are submitted and verified by staff, no complaints will be processed.

No appeals allowed. All results are subject to final judgment by the organizing committee.
